Digital

Technology partly determines what stays visible.

Digital systems are never only tools. They direct attention, distribute access and make some actions feel natural. I build products that keep information, agency and responsibility together as far as possible.

Vision on technology

Technology can widen or narrow what we see.

A digital product succeeds when people can see what is happening, who decides, which information is missing and what a next step requires. That makes work not only easier, but easier to discuss.

Expertise

Software distributes information and agency.

A digital product determines who sees information, who can take an action and where a decision ends up. That is why I start with the problem, the user and the responsibility behind each choice.

The choices in software reveal our assumptions: whom do we trust, what do we want to control and who ultimately gets to decide? Read how this Lens works through systems.

How I work

From idea to a responsible system.

AI can turn an idea into code quickly. I examine whether the product makes clear who decides, which information is needed, what can go wrong and where a person must remain responsible for judgement.
